Windows Development Host

Follow these readme files for all type of builds using Linux, Unix, or OS X as your development host. This is the order you should follow for an object package as outlined throughout these readme files:

Start by installing RDM as described in Windows Installation.

Then, for all type of builds using Windows as your development host you will need to build for Windows directory as described in Microsoft Visual Studio Build System.

Optionally, if you are only doing a hosted build for Windows and want to build the examples and tutorials using CMake (A Cross-Platform Build System) instead of the Visual Studio project files, please consult CMake Build System instead.

Next Step

After you have completed the Windows specific steps as described above you are done unless you are also going to cross compile using project files. Please see section "Next Step" in Microsoft Visual Studio Build System or section "Cross Compile using Project Files" in Building RDM.
