setNString(String parameterName, String value)

Syntax:

void setNString(String parameterName,
                String value)
                throws SQLException

Description:

Sets the designated parameter to the given String object. The driver converts this to a SQL NCHAR or NVARCHAR or LONGNVARCHAR value (depending on the argument's size relative to the driver's limits on NVARCHAR values) when it sends it to the database.

Parameters:

parameterName

the name of the parameter

value

the parameter value

Throws:

SQLException - if a database access error occurs, parameterName is not a valid parameter name, or the prepared statement has been closed
