TFS Configuration Types

Specify the type of TFS to be used.

Value	Description
embed	Use embedded TFS
remote	Use remote TFS
hybrid	Use hybrid TFS

Default Value

If the tfstype option is not defined, the default value of HYBRID is used.

              tfstype=HYBRID

TFS Instantiation Options

This option can only be set when the TFS instance is started. Some of the functions that can be used to set this option are listed below:

• RDM_CPP::TFS::Alloc()
• rdm_rdmAllocTFS()
• rdm_rdmAllocTFSWithMemBuf()

If the rdm-tfs utility is being used to instantiate a TFS, command line options are used to set options affecting TFS startup.
