Syntax:

boolean othersInsertsAreVisible(int type)
                                throws SQLException

Description:

Retrieves whether inserts made by others are visible.

Parameters:

type

the ResultSet type; one of ResultSet.TYPE_FORWARD_ONLY, ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_INSENSITIVE, or ResultSet.TYPE_SCROLL_SENSITIVE

Returns:

true if so; false otherwise

Throws:

SQLException - if a database access error occurs
