getURL(int columnIndex)
Syntax:
URL getURL(int columnIndex) throws SQLException
Description:
Retrieves the value of the designated column in the current row of this ResultSet
object as a java.sql.URL
object in the Java programming language.
RaimaDB does not have a URL type, so if this method is used, the data in the column will be retrieved as a string and then a new URL will be created using this string. If the data in the column is not a well-formed URL, this will cause a SQLException
to be generated.
Parameters:
columnIndex
the first column is 1, the second is 2, ...
Returns:
the column value; if the value is SQL NULL
, the value returned is null
Throws:
SQLException - if a database access error occurs, columnIndex is less than 1 or greater than the number of columns, or this method is called on a closed result set
