readonly

Enables or disables the readonly mode for the TFS. The readonly mode is used when defining write-protected media as the docroot or if the developer wants to ensure no modifications to databases are made.

Default Value

If the readonly option is not defined, the default value of OFF is used.

Boolean Values Accepted

The following values can be accepted boolean values:

String values above are not case-sensitive.

TFS Instantiation Options

This option can only be set after the TFS is allocated and before it is initialized. Some of the functions that can be used to set this option are listed below:

• RDM_CPP::TFS::SetOption()
• RDM_CPP::TFS::SetOptions()
• rdm_tfsSetOption()
• rdm_tfsSetOptions()

If the rdm-tfs utility is being used to instantiate a TFS, command line options are used to set options affecting TFS startup.
